A Vintage Gem

We don’t come across the Euro versions of the Pioneer SX series very often in Iowa, and we think they are very cool! So in this edition we want to share a newly serviced Pioneer SX 690, the Euro twin of the Pioneer SX 680 commonly sold in the U.S. in the late 70’s. There is something about the SX 690’s black tuner panel/scale that especially pops when illuminated with new LEDs. In addition to new LEDs, we have installed new power supply and filter capacitors.
