Welcome to the August edition of the Skylabs Newsletter.

We have been hard at work replenishing our inventory of vintage equipment, new vinyl, and used vinyl; as well as planning new product introductions. Following our July Advance Paris Dealership announcement, this month we are proud to announce that Skylabs is now an authorized dealership for Cambridge Audio products! Along with the Advance Paris catalog of products, Cambridge Audio products are now available for purchase in both our online store and our West Des Moines (Valley Junction) store.

To commemorate our new relationship with Cambridge Audio, together we will be holding a British Invasion event in our Valley Junction store on Saturday August 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cambridge Audio representatives will be here showing off their newest amps, streamers and turntables, and Acoustic Sounds is supplying their high quality records for great music all day long. We will be offering discounted prices on Skylabs branded merchandise, and there will be chances to win awesome prizes from Cambridge Audio and Acoustic Sounds throughout the day — It’s definitely going to be fun one!

New Product Spotlights: Cambridge Audio

CXN 100

The CXN100 is something else! Hi-fi specialists and listeners alike loved its predecessor CXN V2 – just wait until they hear this.

News from the Bench

Vintage service capacity remains a challenge, and we will be posting the following practice along with other service details on our website shortly:

In general, we are only accepting repairs for receivers, amplifiers, and turntables purchased from Skylabs, or specific units that we had serviced previously.  We will continue to offer deep cleaning and lamp replacement (w/ new LEDs) services, as well as re-foam speakers. Join our Discord to help find someone in your local market that may offer repair services.
